My story is simple and likely the same as many women. I turned 60 and I while I felt much younger, my face did not reflect that. I had always thought about some kind of face lift, but I had also seen many of my friends take the plunge, and the results were not optimal. Naturally, I was hesitant because of this, and I certainly was not going to go to any of my friends surgeons, based on their results. I wanted to still look like me, but just less tired looking.
I live in Canada, close to the border at Buffalo. My sister, who lives in Williamsville, texted me one day and let me know she had walked by the Center for Plastic Surgery on Main Street and had seen a sign advertising a QLift. She did her due diligence, made an appointment for a consult, and was so impressed by the staff and Dr. Rigan that she booked her surgery right away. When I saw my sister’s results, I was sold instantly. She looked fantastic, and I knew at that moment that I needed to go for a consult myself, and as I was only a 30 minute drive away over the Peace Bridge, it was an easy decision. After speaking to Patricia, Mary Beth, and Dr. Rigan, I knew this was the right procedure for me. The before and after pictures I was shown were remarkable, but what sold me was how the men and women in those photographs still looked like themselves, but just a better version, once the QLift had been performed.
The actual consultation with Dr. Rigan was thorough and informative. All my questions were answered succinctly, and I never felt rushed. I had a lot to consider, including the fact that I would have to come over the border from Canada to get this procedure done, but the staff were super sensitive to this, and allayed those fears. Honestly, I feel that the staff made having the procedure done in the US a better option than getting it done in Canada. By the end of the consult, I felt extremely confident booking my surgery.
Fast forward to today, and I have had 2 procedures completed by Dr. Rigan. I was so blown away by my Qlift results that when I went back for my second QLift follow up with him, I asked him about what could be done about the lines above my lips. While I loved the QLift results, I felt those lines were stopping me from having what I considered a perfect result. Upper lips lines are extremely difficult to tackle, and something that is not within the scope of a QLift, but Dr. Rigan informed me that a procedure he calls “Liquid Threading” would achieve the results I desired. He was right! I love the results and, for me, it’s a much better alternative to fillers or Botox.
I cannot say enough about him and his staff. Dr. Rigan is very meticulous and is very honest. His bedside manner made me feel calm and confident. He is an amazing surgeon who I would recommend to anyone. His staff are very kind and understanding and always willing to answer my questions and set me at ease when needed. In fact, Mary Beth called me at home on my first night of recovery to ensure I was okay. Dr. Rigan has changed my life, and for that I will never be able to thank him enough!
